For real? My crits were doing 50 with 12 marksmanship, and 13 CS with ebon standard. 35ish without crits... like 20ish without ebon standard..

Well here's 75 damage on a level 30 Kunnavang without even using Barrage.

I don't use it myself anymore, it's an old pic that I posted just to show that Critical Barragers can indeed do around 100 damage as the 75 damage in the pic was from an autoattack with an uncustomised bow on a level 30 enemy. Throw on the extra damage from Barrage and then add the customisation bonus on top and that would have reached around 100 damage easy.

If you do use it though the best way to use it is to activate it out of battle, that way it's recharged by the time you get into battle then you can use it twice (it has a near infinite duration if you activate it and just stand there doing nothing).

I normally just load up on wards and sit with the casters if I'm barraging. Sometimes I take Great Dwarf Weapon aswell to throw on any melee in the group. I find I can normally manage the energy quite well if the melee balls up the monsters well enough.

I guess I was lacking IatS

This was against Maddened Wardens in Urgoz Warren but I imagine they don't have more defense than Kuuvang(sp?) in that screenie.
